Welcome to our Pugwash news page!

Week commencing 30th April

Pugwash enjoyed glorious sunshine and mud when they visited the Rare Breeds Centre on Tuesday.

All the staff, children and their families who went along had so much fun. The children were on Spring watch during their visit and enjoyed seeing baby chicks, lambs, kids, and a calf born that very day. However the favourite had to be playing with the piglets.

After enjoying a picnic lunch and exploring the play park Pugwash children competed in the Pig Race!

There were lots of happy sleepy people on the coach ride back. A huge thank you to the Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Aunties that went with them

Week commencing 30th October

The children in Pugwash enjoyed Halloween when they carved out a pumpkin earlier this week. They also made pumpkin soup and banana and chocolate ghosts!

Week commencing 16th October

The children at Pugwash are enjoying Balanceability classes. Balanceability helps children to learn key balance skills whilst having lots of fun!

Week commencing 2nd October

The Pugwash children enjoyed the sunshine when they visited the local fishing quay and fishmongers.

They enjoyed collecting Autumn leaves for activities back in Nursery and were fascinated by watching the current taking their sticks out to see. They had the opportunity to observe a fisherman mending his nets on the Quay and see all the fish caught locally in the fishmongers.

Week commencing 25th September...

The children in Pugwash have started learning about Harvest. Some of the children enjoyed a lovely summer walk around to the local Farmers Market. They enjoyed looking and tasting the produce and talking to the stall holders. We bought fruit and vegetables for snack time for all the children to share. This week we will be making soup from the squash and pumpkins.
