School Meals

Since the introduction of Universal Free School Meals in September 2014, all children in Foundation Stage and KS1 (Years 1 & 2) are entitled to a free school meal every day. We pride ourselves on the delivery of meals in a family style setting, giving each child a known adult to support them daily, enabling children to try different meals and be encouraged to have a conversation as they enjoy their lunch.

For older children parents are encouraged to pay for school dinners by ParentPay, where meals can be ordered and paid for monthly, weekly or daily.  Alternatively, meals are ordered and paid for on a daily basis. Children who do not bring their money for a school meal should contact the office on arrival at school so that their parents can be telephoned and asked to bring the money in. Meals cost £2.60.

Parents of children in Foundation Stage, KS1 or KS2 who may be eligible for Free School Meals are urged to apply, as this has many benefits including a reduction in the cost of uniform and some trips or after school clubs.  Please contact the school office for further details.  All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.

If your child does not wish to have a meal provided by the school they may bring a packed lunch in a named lunchbox.
