We would like to celebrate the success that our children achieved in their statutory SATs Tests in the Summer.
Our Year 1 children achieved above National averages in their Phonics Screening with 83% of them attaining the expected level in their phonics knowledge. This is a phenomenal achievement and thanks to the hard work of all the Key Stage 1 staff led by Mrs Alex Wilson.
In their Y2 SATs we are particularly proud of our most able children as we achieved double the National averages for children working at a greater depth of understanding. This is down to the focus on high expectations at Rye Primary – well done KS1.
In their Y6 SATs our children rose to the challenge of much harder tests and have achieved progress scores in line with National data, with particular success for our disadvantaged children. Well done Y6 and keep up the good work in Year 7!
