The wall is nearly done! Miss Shackel has just a few more tweaks to make!
Our cement wall has been transformed. Children have produced little ceramic tiles that have been glazed by Rye College.
Thanks to Rye Festival who have part funded the project along with our wonderful PTA. We have included images of Rye which children have been involved in making and have also celebrated our commitment as a Rights Respecting School with six main school chosen statements.
A special thank you to Helen Mucci and Andrew Herbert for the wall preparing, to Jo Terry and Estelle Burton for creative input including painting and to Delphine Pope for working with children on the chosen Rye images.
We are sure you will agree it really does show that our school has a creative buzz!
